Emily Hutson

Director of Equestrian Programs

Emily Hutson began horseback riding when she was six years old at a summer camp in Andover, MA. Emily has competed in gymkhanas, hunters, dressage, and the jumper ring making her a versatile equestrian. Emily owns two horses, a Haflinger mare named Skittles and a Paint gelding named Ringo. In 2008, Emily obtained her Massachusetts Horseback Riding Instructor’s license. Since then, she has taught lessons to a variety of riders of all ages and abilities. Emily has taught at a few barns in the area, one including the prestige therapeutic program at Ironstone Farm leading her to become the Camp Director of the therapeutic summer program. With background from previous jobs, she offers a variety of computer and administrative skills to bring to life her fun and new programming ideas for our riding programs. Emilys dedication to safety and horsemanship knowledge ensures the safety of our riders at Pompositticut Farm.
