Melissa (Missy) Ansley started at Pompositticut in 1985 where as a camper she fostered her love of horses and summer fun. This love of horses led her to continue riding throughout college at Framingham State, where she competed on the equestrian team. She joins the PFDC staff as Assistant Director for 2018 during her summer break from teaching. As a STEM Teacher at the Marlboro Middle School, Melissa prides herself in making each of her students grow in their curiosity to learn and build self-confidence.
Missy has recently earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Cambridge College and in her spare time she is a runner, who has completed 12 half marathons and counting. The challenge of succeeding beyond one’s believed limits is what drives Missy to keep improving with each race. She also loves spending time with her huge dog, Hudson, walking and enjoying the town that she loves. Missy is enthralled with helping children to have amazing, lasting memories of their time at PFDC just like she remembers, 32 years later!
